Throughout her distinguished career Millie Hernandez-Becker has been involved with almost every aspect of private aviation. As an aircraft owner and operator, she has become a recognized leader in the aviation community. Her experience in airport operations, FBO development and private jet charter helped her establish Skyqueen Enterprises, a firm focused on aviation business development, strategic planning, airport infrastructure and general aviation. Along the way, she has been recognized by many as one of the most respected woman in her field.

Working her way up from entry-level jobs, including Flight Attendant, Gate Agent, Operations Agent and Customer Service Manager at New York area airports, she developed a passion for planes and people. Her rise through the industry led her to a position as President and CEO of Westchester Air, a Part 135 FAA certified air charter company. The company grew to become FBO Aircraft Maintenance and Sales to include FBO operation and aircraft maintenance. In 2003 she sold the company to the Carlyle Group in 2003.

In 2004, Hernandez-Becker founded Skyqueen Enterprises, a certified MWBE aviation firm that combines knowledge and information of a growing industry and robust network of industry professionals to create winning outcomes for her clients. As President and CEO of Skyqueen, Ms. Hernandez-Becker has developed a solid reputation among government, corporate and community leaders by providing guidance with concessions, FBO development, aircraft charter and management. Skyqueen also offers airport real estate development services.

Skyqueen Enterprises is a member of the National Aviation Business Association, The Wings Club and the Westchester Business Aviation Association. She sits on the Board of the Business Council of Westchester and the Women’s Economic Development Council.

Among her many awards, Ms. Hernandez-Becker received a Presidential appointment to the National Women’s Business Council and earned SBA Northeast Businessperson of the Year, as well as the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year. Westchester County Executive’s office and the New York State Senate bestowed her with Hispanic Leader of the Year honors in recognition of her assistance to future business leaders.

A Manhattan native of Puerto Rican heritage, Ms. Hernandez-Becker lives in Pound Ridge, New York with her husband and son.
